Our Person Centred approach assists young people to develop their community living skills so they can reduce the level of support they need over time as they move towards independent living.

Flexible and supportive services for young people

Quality Health Care is proud is to support the dreams and aspirations of young people with a disability who leave the care of The Minister when they turn 18. QHC delivers services to our younger community members, who generally have complex support needs, in a flexible and valued manner. Our key strategies focus on engaging these individuals in activities and programs that boost personal growth and help build positive self-esteem.

Our programs include education on domestic responsibilities, emotional support, social choices, employment and living independently. Our program has a particular focus on reducing the incidence of young people who are homeless or involved in crime.

QHC maintains a high level of effective service delivery and holds full accreditation with The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS). QHC also holds certification for voluntary-out-of-home-care (VOOHC) with The Office of the Children's Guardian.
