Intake Coordinator
Based at Hurstville, New South Wales

Quality Health Care is a specialist in-home, disability and community care provider, providing support and services throughout Sydney. Our services are individually tailored to meet the needs of each client and provided in an environment that is caring, friendly and supportive.  We are seeking and Intake Coordinator who will engage, screen, assess, and fill vacancies within Quality Health Care’s accommodation portfolio. This role provides information, support and advice to agencies and individuals seeking accommodation to ensure that families / stakeholders receive exceptional customer service and support throughout their intake journey into QHC.  This role also manages and coordinates all SIL quotes developed and submitted to the NDIA for approval, to ensure that the quotes are accurate and reflective of customer’s support needs, and ensures operational changes are implemented upon approval.

Your Role

  • In consultation with Team Leaders monitor vacancies within the accommodation portfolio

  • Respond to all enquiries from agencies and prospective tenants

  • Screen, assess and match enquiries against vacancies and engage with enquirers about suitability and process

  • Schedule appointments and meetings with agencies and prospective tenants at accommodation sites and promote QHC offerings and success

  • Maintain and expand effective relationships with key stakeholders and schedule regular updates, meetings and contact to build positive working relationship

  • Manage and coordinate all SIL quotes developed and submitted to the NDIA for approval

  • Complete SIL quotes for all new residents as part of the onboarding process

  • Provide SIL advice and coaching to Team Leaders and NDIS Planners in the regions to improve capability in financial literacy and SIL operational impacts


Essential Criteria

  • Experience in working in a supported living and/or drop-in support service

  • Well organised, responsible with good time management skills

  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Good written & verbal communication skills.

  • Well organised, detailed and structured

  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and report writing skills

  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to adapt to different situations
