Quality Health Care is a specialist in-home, disability and community care provider, providing support and services across Sydney. We have a diverse team that is over 350 strong and we pride ourselves on fostering a positive work culture that achieves exceptional results. Based in QHC’s office in Hurstville, you will join a skilled team that works across QHC’s operational and administrative teams and ensures that we provide guidance, advice and assurance to managers and teams across a range of areas across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the HR Manager you will partner with teams to ensure that QHC fulfils its obligations around employment, WHS, compliance and quality frameworks while also ensuring that workplaces remain positive, productive and supportive.
Your overall experience will be:
A proven track record of leading, managing and promoting HR and people management practices across a diverse workforce
The ability to establish and maintain positive and productive stakeholder relationships
Develop and deliver people focused cultural change initiatives and employee engagement plans to create and sustain a constructive and safe workplace culture
Establish relationships with the QHC leadership team and provide professional advice, coaching and support in the implementation of human resource strategies and the resolution of complex human resources issues
Experience in developing HR policies and procedures that comply with industry standards and quality frameworks
Ability to write and deliver training courses and presentations that fulfil QHC’s commitment to ongoing learning and development for all staff
Deliver on the internal communications for the organisation from the Human Resources team to engage the reader and provide relevant and necessary business information
Provide strategic initiatives and guidance in the development of talent strategies, workforce planning, recruitment approaches and organisational structures.
What We Are Looking for in You:
Qualification in Human Resources, Disability Services or communications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a human resources and/or communications sector
Desirable experience operating under the disability/aged care sector
Experience in industrial relations law and personnel compliance
Strong experience in analysing and interpreting data.
Possess excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
You are required to have strong and confident interpersonal skills to liaise and build relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels across the company. This role requires organisational skills and the ability to be agile and multitask, often at short notice.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills will contribute to the success of the role. It is expected that the ideal candidate will have intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with SharePoint is an advantage.
