Located in Casula this service is located in a quiet, wide, tree-lined street close to Casula Mall which offers a good selection of cafes and shops. Empower is a short walk to Casula train station with Glenfield and Liverpool close by. Empower is a modern, large property that is fully accessible and offers a comfortable home environment and focuses on skill development, community access and family contact for each of the residents. The house is cleverly designed offering 2 distinct and private shared living environments providing a good mix of private spaces and communal areas for socialising. Other features include;

The current residents are all male
Residents are aged 25–46
All residents are verbal
Each resident has their own network, interests and activities that they pursue individually with the support of staff
There are opportunities for residents to socialise and engage in special events in the house and/or in the community if preferred

Casula offers 24/7 support by an experienced team of support workers
Casula staff use an active support approach in their daily living and household activities
Casula adopts a person-centred approach and staff are skilled in positive behaviour support, skill development, tasks of daily living, trauma informed practice, mental health and drug and alcohol
