Assistant Team Leader

Position Summary

Assistant Team Leaders support Team Leaders in providing high quality supports within individual supported living services. They achieve this through a combination of;

  • Resident Support

  • Practice Coaching

  • Service Administration

  • Communication and Relationships

Assistant Team Leaders provide leadership and support to service staff by mentoring and coaching good practice and work with teams to achieve personal outcomes for customers


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum requirement of Certificate IV in Disability Work or other relevant qualifications (the

  • relevance will be at the discretion of management).

  • Experience in working in a supported living and/or drop-in support service

  • Well organised, responsible with good time management skills

  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Good written & verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure

  • Current Unrestricted Australian driver’s license

  • Current WWC clearance

  • Current NDIS Worker clearance

  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
