Quality Health Care (QHC) is seeking a dedicated and resilient Disability Support Worker to join our EMBRACE team at a Supported Independent Living home in Pagewood, supporting four residents living with Huntington’s Disease, dementia and other complex conditions. They live with significant physical, intellectual and mental health challenges, and require adaptive communication techniques to support non-verbal clients.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience in high-needs environments who is passionate about helping people live life with dignity, connection and purpose.

Your Role:

• Personal Care, Continence Support and Complex Bowel Care Management

• PEG Feeding (including medication administration) and Enteral Feeding

• Manual Handling, including use of Hoists

• Medication Management

• Supporting community access and participation in meaningful activities

• Medical and allied health appointment support

• Implementing positive behaviour support strategies

• Encouraging independence and quality of life within a safe environment

What We' re Looking For:

 

• Cert IV in Disability or equivalent experience

• Experience with high physical support needs, complex care, PEG feeding, or challenging behaviours

• Manual Handling and Personal Care experience

• Excellent documentation and communication skills

• Full Availability for all shift types (including active nights)

• Unrestricted Drivers License

• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and valid First and CPR Certificate
