Your Role:
• Supporting residents with daily living tasks and developing independent living skills
• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Implementing positive behaviour support strategies and restrictive practices
• Encouraging healthy lifestyle choices, including supporting residents with nutrition and wellbeing goals
• Supporting community access, appointments and social participation
• Managing complex behaviours using a trauma-informed approach
• Maintaining professional boundaries and providing consistent support
• Completing progress notes, incident reports and other documentation as required
What We're Looking For:
• Certificate IV in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting people with mental health conditions, trauma backgrounds and behaviours of concern
• Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and restrictive practices
• Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
• Resilience and confidence managing complex behaviours in a professional manner
• Medication administration experience highly regarded
• Open availability across weekdays, weekends and overnight shifts
• Valid Driver's Licence
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and current First Aid and CPR
