We have career opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join the senior leadership team at Quality Health Care (QHC).
Quality Health Care (QHC) is a specialist accommodation, disability, and community care provider with over 25 years’ experience supporting people to live life well. With a workforce of over 350 staff, we deliver a wide range of NDIS supports across NSW.
As QHC’s Finance Manager, you will lead QHC’s financial management, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and the delivery of high-quality financial information to support business growth and organisational excellence. Reporting directly to the CEO and Executive Directors, you will oversee all accounting operations, mentor the Finance Team, manage internal controls, and play a critical role in shaping QHC’s financial strategy and performance.
The Role:
Provide strategic leadership across all financial operations at QHC
Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial statements and organisational reporting
Lead annual business planning and budgeting in partnership with the CEO and Directors
Mentor and develop the Finance Team to drive high performance and capability
Set and monitor financial KPIs to support continuous improvement
Maintain robust internal controls and financial governance
Oversee end-to-end financial processes including payroll, billing, payables, and compliance
Lead month-end and year-end reporting cycles
Review organisational and departmental financial performance to support sustainable growth
Provide expert financial and commercial advice to managers and teams
Contribute as an active member of the Finance Leadership Team and Senior Management Team
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or CPA or CMA qualification (preferred)
Extensive experience across accounting and finance, ideally 10+ years
Extensive knowledge and experience working in the NDIS
Proven success as a Financial Controller within a complex organisation
Strong knowledge of financial governance, reporting, and compliance
Expertise in financial statements, general ledger management, and key reporting cycles
Demonstrated leadership capability with an approachable and supportive style
Ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively under pressure
Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to service excellence
