Quality Health Care (QHC) is seeking a dedicated male Disability Support Worker to join our team supporting a young man in his 20s living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation in Pagewood.
He is sociable, enjoys music, and loves spending time outdoors. This is a 1:1 support role suited to someone who is reliable, compassionate, and confident in supporting individuals with Autism and behaviours of concern. You’ll be joining a well-established, supportive team and play a key role in helping him work towards his goals and live as independently as possible within the community.
Your Role:
Assist with all activities of daily living
Support community access, outings, and meaningful activities
Provide structure and consistency to support routines
Implement behaviour support strategies in line with the Behaviour Support Plan
Promote independence, choice, and positive outcomes in a safe and supportive environment
What We’re Looking For:
Male support worker (role requirement)
Experience supporting individuals with Autism and mental health needs
Demonstrated ability to manage challenging behaviours and follow Behaviour Support Plans
Full, unrestricted Driver’s Licence (essential for community access)
A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach with a strong focus on wellbeing
